After a family tragedy for which he feels responsible, 25-year-old Ismaël arrives in Marseille with his younger brother Mouloud, who is supposed to return to Tunisia to join their parents. When Mouloud refuses to leave and runs away with his cousin Rhida, who is involved with a dangerous drug dealer, Ismaël desperately searches for him. While working on his uncle’s building site and becoming involved with a young woman, Ismaël remains determined to find and save his brother.
