12 ANGRY LEBANESE

At Roumieh Prison in Lebanon, theatre director and drama therapist Zeina Daccache establishes an unprecedented drama-therapy project with a group of incarcerated men. Through months of rehearsals, the prisoners confront their pasts, their crimes and the circumstances that brought them to prison, while preparing a theatrical production inspired by their own lives. The project offers them a rare opportunity for self-expression, rehabilitation and a different vision of life beyond prison walls.
