NORAH

Set in a remote Saudi Arabian village in the 1990s, Norah is a young woman who lives largely apart from the conservative world around her. Her life changes when Nader, a new schoolteacher and secretly a painter, arrives in the village. He awakens his own artistic passion again, while Norah discovers through him a wider world beyond her isolated community. As their friendship grows, they inspire one another to keep their creativity alive despite the restrictions of their society. Norah gradually realizes that she must leave her familiar world in order to find a place where she can freely express herself and pursue her artistic ambitions.
