COMMITMENT HASAN

Hasan makes his living from the fruit orchard and tomato fields he inherited from his father. When an electricity pole is to be installed in the middle of his land, he tries to find a way to have it removed or relocated. At the same time, Hasan and his wife Emine receive the long-awaited news that they can make their pilgrimage to Mecca. As he prepares for the journey, Hasan begins to examine his past and confront the consequences of the choices he has made. The values on which he has built his life increasingly come into conflict with his actions, forcing him into a painful process of self-examination and reckoning with his conscience.
