BACK TO ALEXANDRIA

After twenty years away, Sue returns to her native Egypt to visit her mother Fairouz, an eccentric Egyptian aristocrat from whom she has become estranged. Beginning in Cairo and travelling toward Alexandria, Sue is drawn into a journey filled with memories, nostalgia and unresolved feelings about her past. As she reconnects with her roots and confronts the ghosts of her childhood, the journey gradually allows her to reconcile with her past and become the independent woman she has long needed to be.
