ALAM

Tamer is a Palestinian teenager living in Israel. He and his friends lead the carefree life of typical high school students until the arrival of Maysaa’. Hoping to impress her, Tamer agrees to take part in a mysterious flag operation on the eve of Israel’s Independence Day, a day of mourning for Palestinians. What begins as an attempt to win Maysaa’s attention gradually draws him into a deeper confrontation with his identity, his history and the political reality surrounding him.
